Jensen Huang Declares AI's Second Wave Arriving Now

Jensen Huang declared a "major second wave" of AI is underway, speaking via video from NVIDIA's Silicon Valley headquarters to Scaleway's ai-PULSE conference in Paris. The audience exceeded 1,000 in-person attendees at Station F, the world's largest startup campus. Huang's conversation with iliad Group Deputy CEO Aude Durand was livestreamed.

Two forces are driving this wave, Huang said: every region building sovereign AI infrastructure, and generative AI spreading across industries. He pointed specifically to digital biology, manufacturing, and robotics as the next domains for language-model-scale breakthroughs. Europe's industrial and healthcare sectors, he argued, position the continent well for both. NVIDIA Blog reported the remarks.
