Foxconn and Bull to Build Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72 in Europe

Foxconn and French computing firm Bull will manufacture Nvidia's Vera Rubin NVL72 AI platform in Europe, the Manila Times reports via GlobeNewswire. Foxconn builds and tests components in the Czech Republic, and Bull handles final assembly at its factory in Angers, France. The systems ship under the Bull brand for European cloud providers and AI factories.

This matters because sovereign-AI politics now run through the manufacturing floor. Europe wants compute it can call its own, and the answer is a Taiwanese contract manufacturer running the line.

For Taiwan, it confirms the pattern. When a government wants domestic AI hardware, Foxconn makes it real. The badge changes. The capability does not.
